According to a VERY Quick press briefing:
At 10:59am A Woman was Dropped off at the entrance
She then went to the ticket counter but then walked away- going to the bathroom where she put on a hoody.
She came out of the bathroom and began firing at what appeared to be the ceiling.
An officer had been in the area, saw her firing and opened fire on her, striking her lower extremities. She is now in the Parkland Hospital.
*Important- The Officer who spoke at the press conference had made it clear in the beginning that he would not take any questions and he was only relaying the facts as he knows them at this point and that they will most likely change as more information is gathered.
Something that should’ve been done in every recent mass shooting case but has not- leading people to draw their own conclusions- usually landing them as far from the actual truth as they can get.
As I hear more, I’ll update everyone.
