Adams warned the new “anti-gun unit” that they’ll follow the law or they’ll be terminated. Supervisor will be enforcing to make sure Officer abide by all regulations set forth in “My Police Department” according to Mayor Adams
Reality Check- That’s the people police department… Not yours…
Adams appears to be going through the motions. His reimagined anti-crime unit is shaping up to be a joke.
Body cams will be required during any interaction with the public and they’ll be wearing “modified uniforms”.

Am I the only person who see the issue with that? Who cares if plain clothes officers jumped out of cars arresting people?

1. As long as they identify themselves or have their badges out to identify them, I don’t personally see a problem
2. If you’re not doing anything wrong, you don’t have anything to worry about
3. Criminals aren’t supposed to know you’re there. That’s part of the reason the plain clothes unit worked so well.

I don’t have an issue with cameras. I believe a 360 degree panoramic type camera should be mounted inconspicuously on a nearby unmarked car(s), and/or utility area or building when officers approach the public. Giving the accountability to the public that they want and need. Not forcing uniforms on crime-units to make it easy for the criminals involved to spot you.
Of coarse a criminal isn’t gonna sell fentanyl in front of a uniformed officer. The same sale that could have ended that drug dealers murder rampage against our youth is put on hold because he or she sees a uniform and bails. Now, that same dealer is off selling that fatal drug fentanyl to 100+ more people because a unit missed their chance to take that scumbag down because of their clothes. Causing countless more deaths. All because Mayor Adams decided that criminals “feelings” matter more than the people they victimize. Proving so by making concessions for said criminals.
The “shiny red ball” that is Adams, is losing its shine. He’s looking a lot more and more like his predecessor, Deblasio. Falling right in line with the treacherous waters the democrats have chosen to drag their people of New York through.
Get out while you can…
Adams has put his focus on guns like a good little liberal instead of the policies enabling these criminals to pick up a gun and act like they are. Do you honestly think that these people and these guns were not available before today? They’ve always been here. The difference is… the leadership and policies.
So while Adams falls off target and the crime continues, I pray New Yorkers can remain safe until they learn how to vote. Or at least learn to read about who they vote for.
Keep in mind, that without the 5 boroughs of New York, it’s mainly a Red State. A fact that is overlooked by the Democratic leadership therein. So, when the Governor of New York, Mayor Adams, and Alvin Bragg exhaust all their followers by making them victims(most criminals don’t vote), they’ll eventually wind up all alone in their ivory towers, waiting for removal…(fingers 🤞 crossed for the victims of New York City, you’re in our prayers)
