🇺🇸 Granted, in the past ACLU, American Civil Liberty Union, has stood up against surveillance of Civilians. Unfortunately, most cases , even then were only pursuant against Republicans when in reality, Democrats are working their asses off to make our Country, in the fashion of a Surveillance State.

🇺🇸 Yet, the audacity of those who’ve supported the very surveillance they claim to fight, are now associating a beloved custom of those of us who enjoy celebrating Christmas. The fun little Christmas Elf tradition of families throughout the world, that many Families have been doing with their children, joyously, since 2005. When the ‘Elf on the Shelf’ was slowly being introduced to America.

🇺🇸 Technically, this was a Scandinavian Family Tradition that started in the 1970’s by Carol Aebersold, her daughter, and family. It had only became popular when her and her daughter tried to publish the book and were turned down by every publisher. They took what they had and put every last cent into publishing it themselves, and it very slowly took off in about 2007, after its 2005 release.

🇺🇸 Anything they can do to attack Christians, Christian Traditions, and Christian Holidays seems to be an M.O. The very same M.O. used when attacking Jewish Cultures as well. The conservatism therein makes that a little more difficult, but it obviously hasn't kept this new-age prejudice at bay. (I do not mean to exclude any religions being attacked, i am only commenting on the ones i know most about.)
